Shul Babies & Bubbes  & Zaydes

The purpose of this newly initiated program is to build community by fostering relationships between younger and older members of our congregation. This intergenerational program works to fill the very real need of families whose relatives don’t live in the Chicago area as it builds diverse social engagement.

Participating seniors and parents of the children are asked to complete a short interest survey which will be used to pair them up. Bubbes or zaydes might choose to partner, teaming up with friends to participate together with a family. Click here or on the flyer above to complete the survey. In addition to getting together outside the Temple, all of the participants will be invited to multigenerational Har Zion programs.

We are also looking for two or three members who are willing to co-chair this program for the first year or two.
