Dr. Arie Zmora has stimulated our community for years, adding to our understanding of complex issues and expanding our knowledge. This 3 session examination of the History of Anti-semitism provides another opportunity to learn from this insightful and interesting expert.


May 1:  The Black Death of 1348-1351. How the most lethal plague in history was blamed on the Jews. How it consequently led to massacres and destruction of Jewish communities all over Europe. What does the grim legacy linking Jews to pandemics mean to us today?

May 8:  Rise of racial and political anti-Semitism in 19th century Europe- A prelude/forerunner to Fascism, Nazism, and White Supremacy.

May 15:   An Unholy Alliance, Islam and Nazi Germany. How Islamic leaders led by Hajj Amin Al Husseini- leader of the Palestinian national movement- became enthusiastic supporters of Nazi ideology, soldiers of the Waffen SS, and active partners in implementing the Final Solution of the Jewish People.
