Shofar in the Park

3:00 PM - 4:30 PM

Welcome the month of Elul with the shofar blowing with Rabbi Glick at the temple ad parks near the temple.

The shofar is blown at the daily minyan during the month of Elul, so what better way to welcome the month than with Shofar at the Park?

We will congregate at Temple Har Zion (1040 N. Harlem Ave., River Forest, IL) at 3 PM for our first blasts,
And then walk to or meet at Austin Gardens (167 Forest Ave., Oak Park) at 3:45 PM, blow the shofar again,
And finally congregate at Scoville Park (800 Lake St., Oak Park) at 4:15 PM, to again sound the notes of the shofar.

Please join us for the whole walk, or, alternatively, join us at one of the parks. We will of course be bringing sweets and nosh for the road!
