Programming for Children up to Age 10/Grade 7:

  • Camp Shana Tovah has services/programs for young children (aged 1-PreK) and their families, and separate programs/services for school-aged children up through 7th grade. The camp is outdoors and in person only.

  • Professional childcare will also be available for kids up to 10 years of age; registration is required.

Services for Older Youth and Adults:

All of the main High Holy Day services and programs are in person and will also be streamed on YouTube, Facebook, and Zoom, with the exception of Tashlich, which is in-person only.

The suggested donations for attending High Holy Day services at Temple Har Zion depend on a person's member status and whether they are attending in person or by streaming online.

Donations and Links:

 

  • For members: No charge, no tickets necessary.
     
  • In person for guests of member families: $125 per person; please call the office at 708.366.9000 if cost is an issue. Click here.
     
  • In person or streaming for non-members who are joining us for the first time: No charge, but register here: Click here.
     
  • In person for non-members who have attended our High Holy Day services before (see below if attending by Zoom only): $250 per person. (But please consider becoming members.) Click here.
     
  • In person or streaming for students, and for parents of children in the Temple Har Zion Early Childhood Education program: No charge, but register here: Click here.
     
  • In person or streaming for visitors who are members of other synagogues: No charge with a supporting letter from your home synagogue. Please have your congregation send a letter of reciprocity to Har Zion (office@wsthz.org or 1040 N. Harlem Ave., River Forest, IL 60305).
     
  • For persons who would not otherwise be our guests, and who are attending online only: $18 per person, per service. (Link for tickets to come.)

Notes on Attending Adult Services
 

  • Are you a Har  Zion member? You may pick up your tickets/be checked in at the temple when you arrive for a High Holy Day service.
     
  • You can "reserve" seating for the balance of the season when you come to your first service. 
     
  • We will have cards that you can use to request that no one will sit immediately beside you.
     
  • Please do not come if you feel at all unwell.
     
  • Recordings of Completed Services/Programs that have already been streamed are available on Temple Har Zion YouTube and Facebook.
