Har Zion Early Childhood Programs

2 and 3 Year Old Program

This play-based program introduces two year-olds to a school setting with a welcoming and engaging environment rich in appropriate learning materials. Teachers create opportunities for children to explore in a setting that has been established to encourage social development. Within this fun, hands-on approach to learning, a love of Jewish tradition and culture is developed.  Children do not need to be toilet trained.

Lunch and Play
Children can continue their social development through sharing lunch with friends. A kosher, nut-free family style lunch is prepared on site.

3-5 Year Old Program

In the mixed-aged classroom children's’ interests, questions and discussions are the guiding factors used to plan the curriculum. As they engage in topics that interest them, children learn to work together collaboratively and respectfully. The teachers encourage children to work through their challenges, build upon their strengths, and find answers to their questions while integrating Jewish culture and traditions. Children must be 3 by September 1st.

Our Extended Exploration takes the best of our early childhood program's NAEYC Accredited program and offers it in a warm, relaxed afternoon program that includes: healthy snacks, nap-time, art programs, gardening, outdoor play, cooking, music and dance, Jewish holiday celebrations, and much more.

Camp Zion

Camp Zion is a safe and fun environment where campers can learn, grow, and make friends.   The “Theme of the Week” complements our regular camp activities and weekly field trips.  The week ends on Fridays as all campers come together to celebrate Shabbat with a Twist!
